Residents may still apply on-line or over the phone

(GOSHEN, NY) – Orange County homeowners, renters and small business owners who were affected by Hurricane Sandy have until Friday, December 7 to apply in-person for Individual Assistance (IA) with FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) at the Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) located at the Orange County Fire Training Center, 9 Training Center Lane in New Hampton as that office will close at 5 pm.

Orange County residents may apply still for Individual Assistance (IA) by registering online at www.disasterassistance.gov by smartphone at m.fema.gov or by calling 1-800-621-FEMA (3362) or 1-800-462-7585 (TTY) for the hearing and speech impaired.  The toll-free telephone numbers will operate 24 hours, seven days a week until further notice.
